Troubleshooting Check Point CloudGuard SVM Connectivity Issues

Issue/Introduction

• The Check Point CloudGuard SVM is unreachable on the network.
• The SVM's default gateway cannot be pinged from its CLI.
• No entries are observed in the SVM's ARP table after pinging the default gateway.
• Check Point CloudGuard base version R81.20 is installed

Environment

VMware NSX 3.x and 4.x

Resolution

Install the hotfix 'Take 89' of the Check Point CloudGuard or upgrade to the newest versions of the Check Point CloudGuard.
