Preview option failing for policies with more than 4000 sensors

Issue/Introduction

The Policy preview API fails with a 403 error and displays the message:

"Failed to load assets due to a system error.  Try again later."

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: Before April 2025

Cause

Demand requests on the Policy preview API are being rejected on the CBC backend and eventually timeout before the 60 second timeout.

Resolution

This was partially corrected in August 2024 in CBC-39434, and then improved again in DSER-55467 to optimize the API processing to handle ORG with a large volume of endpoints.
