Users in same role are not able to see a target or a SecOps policy

Issue/Introduction

Users that have the same role permissions are not able to view a policy created by user.

Environment

Aria Config - all versions

Cause

The user or role has most likely not been granted permissions on the target assigned to the role. Permissions are checked when loading the policies.

Resolution

As a Superuser, update the permissions on the role to permit at least "Read" access to the target group assigned to the policy.

1. Login as user with Superuser role
2. Navigate to Administration -> Roles
3. Find the tab called "Resource access" and click the button for "Show all targets"
4. Find the target group assigned to the policy and update the permission to "Read", or "Read/Write", or "Read/Write/Delete"
5. Click the "Save" button to update the permissions
6. Have the user in question refresh the list of policies to confirm the policy now appears.
