Issue/Introduction

We have defined Infrastructure Filters in the Infrastructure Manager to limit a user to only be able to see one single probe on a single robot.

This is not working in Admin Console or Operator Console.

Is it possible to define a filter so the user can only see and configure one single probe on a single robot and not have access to any other robots, or even any other probes on the same robot?

Resolution

The "Infrastructure Filter" feature only applies to Infrastructure Manager and not Admin Console; this functionality was never incorporated into the design.

There is currently no way to limit access to Admin Console while still providing access to Infrastructure Manager, if you have access to one, you will have access to both.

In Operator Console, all data segregation occurs by Origin.  It would be possible to configure a unique Origin on the robot in question and define an Account/Account Contact with access to only that origin, but you cannot limit access to deploy profiles for a single probe.  If a user has profile deployment access, it applies to all profile types for the robot(s) the user can access.
