Issue/Introduction

The PL/1 compiler may fail to find include CEEIBMCT during compilation.

This include file may be used by PL/1 programs that call Language Environment services. Its function is to declare Language Environment condition tokens for the conditions returned by the LE services.

The error issued by the PL/1 compiler would be

IBM1848I S The INCLUDE file for CEEIBMCT could not be found.

Resolution

This include file resides in library CEE.SCEESAMP.

The processor needs to specify this library in the SYSLIB DD chain so that the compiler may find it,
