Wasp probe crashes on the UIM Server

Issue/Introduction

wasp crashes frequently with error message below captured in the wasp.log

FATAL [Thread-##, com.nimsoft.nimbus.NimHeartbeat] I lost my heartbeat. Exiting
Controller: Max. restarts reached for probe 'wasp' (command = <startup java>)

Environment

UIM 23.4.1+

Resolution

This issue is sometimes caused by tasks associated with the mon_config_service probe

Option 1

1. Deactivate the mon_config_service probe.

2. In Infrastructure Manager, ctrl + right-click on the mon_config_service probe, select Raw Configure, select the timed folder, double click on the check_package_availability_interval key and set the value to 1200

3. Activate the mon_config_service probe and monitor the wasp probe

Option 2

1. Deactivate the mon_config_service probe if Monitoring Configuration profiles are not used/deployed
