TCA-CP appliance upgrade fails without any error

Issue/Introduction

During an update of TCA-CP from 3.1 to 3.2, you might see that the appliance upgrade stops without any error message.

 

Looking at the cnVmLogs/logs/vmware/capengine/cap-update/workflow.log logs iyou will see this message:

Resolution

• The upgrade fails because of space issue
• Run df -h to validate how much the /common directory is consuming 
• Remove the logs that are consuming large amount of space within that /common directory
