Cannot add new Rally Defect State value - error processing request: alm-alm-

Issue/Introduction

When trying to add a new value to the State field for defects, saving the new value results in the following error: 

{"OperationResult":{"Errors":["error processing request: alm-alm-example.alm-alm-example"]}}

Resolution

Please open a case with Rally Support so they can fix this issue.
