Issue/Introduction

During phase-3 upgrade(manager upgrade), we see FIB update happening on edge node which caused N-S outage of ICMP in the range of 2-5 secs on different uplink of active edge node.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

After successful upgrade of MP, there will be full sync between MP-CCP and between CCP - TNs delta sync. On edge nodes, I can see delete FIB process first and later create processed and because of that there is datapath outage for 2-3 seconds.

Resolution

Fixed in the following versions and above:

NSX 3.2.3
NSX 4.1.x
