Maintenance Windows are not being Respected for Managed Software Delivery Policies.

Issue/Introduction

After configuring a maintenance window and applying it to a target computer group, the customer observed that the managed software delivery policy was executing on the endpoint when the maintenance window was not active.

Software Management Solution 8.x

Cause

Incorrect remediation settings

Resolution

By default, the remediation is set to run immediately.  This option will override the maintenance window that is enabled and in place.  You should change this remediation option to At next maintenance window.  Once set the endpoint will now download the software, if compliance is set outside the maintenance window, and then will wait to execute the software until the maintenance window opens.
