SEARCH returns error IMGR009E - NO ELEMENT MATCH(ES) FOUND AT SPECIFIED LOCATION

Issue/Introduction

While performing a text string search of an Endevor environment, the utility identifies numerous elements that contain the search string but also generates error IMGR009E - NO ELEMENT MATCH(ES) FOUND AT SPECIFIED LOCATION.  Why?

Resolution

This error is generated when the MCF and Element Catalog are not in-sync.  It is recommended to run the Catalog Synchronization Utility contained in .CSIQJCL(BC1JCSYN) in validate mode with PARM='BC1PCSYNVALIDATE'.  To correct the synchronization issues that are identified, the utility can be run in update mode with PARM='BC1PCSYNUPDATE'.
