Issue/Introduction

The accented characters in Job Log are wrongly displayed in UVC

whereas they can be displayed correctly when written in the Uproc Label or Uproc script:

Environment

Dollar Universe 6.x and 7.x

Cause

Defect: Problem was coming from encoding of uprocs.
Depending on the tool used to create uproc scripts, they can be encoded as ANSI or UTF8.
Notepad(default tool used by UVC) used to encode them in ANSI, and UVC was reading content as ANSI too.
When Notepad switched to encoding by default to UTF8 (~Windows10), UVC was still reading job log content as ANSI, which caused the issue.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

Fix version(s):
Component: Univiewer Console
Dollar Universe 7.01.11 - Planned to be released end April 2024
