Deactivate an AWS Account within a tenant to mark the account's assets as Inactive so they are not included in Policy Violations and not included in Rightsizing recommendations. This will not delete the account's assets, it will just mark them as Inactive in the assets report.
Prerequisites: The AWS account must be in a Critical state for the Deactivation job to succeed. If this is not completed, the account's assets will return to an active state on the next collection cycle. The purpose of this job is to change the status of assets to inactive after an account is closed. This is needed because when an account is closed the platform loses API access preventing the ability to receive updates and assets will remain in the last status recorded.
Please log a support case to fulfill this request. You will need to provide the AWS account IDs that need deactivation and the full customer name.
