Issue/Introduction

  • A storage profile associated with a catalog in VMware Cloud Director has been deleted, despite still being attached to the catalog.
  • The catalog in question contains ISOs that are currently mounted by running virtual machines.

Environment

Cloud Director 10.3.3.4

Cause

The deletion of the storage profile from the VMware Cloud Director UI or API, while it is still attached to the catalog, has caused the issue.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please open a case with Support and quote this KB.
