Issue/Introduction

User may see different result with/without --member parameters.

Environment

All gemfire.

Cause

It is because the region is specified with both REPLICATE and REPLICATE_PROXY region shortcuts on the server.

REPLICATE_PROXY would not store data actually. For more details of the type of regions, please refer to below doc.
Region Shortcuts Reference -> REPLICATE_PROXY

Resolution

Add --member parameter if you use REPLICATE_PROXY to get query result only from the data nodes.

We are also seeking for opportunity to improve the experiences such as the --group to group the data nodes and query correct nodes to get proper results.

For now, please use the work around mentioned here.
