Issue/Introduction

Empty logs sent to the syslog server.

Identified gaps in the dfwpktlogs.log file.

Environment

VMware NSX 3.x and 4.x

Resolution

Remove the newline character after writing the comment in the rule log label ('Default Layer3 Rule' in the below screenshot) resolved the gaps in the dfwpktlogs.log.
