Customers had access to run the report for all users in 9.1SP1 but after upgrading to 9.1SP5, it is observed that the username is mandatory field and report can not be run for all users.
How to find all users in the exception list for today in AA 9.1SP5?
Environment
Advanced Authentication
Release: 9.1SP5
Resolution
Prior to 9.1SP3 release reports returned information for all users by default. For security purposes, and to reduce the report-generation workload, 9.1SP3 release of Advanced Authentication adds the ability to restrict information returned in reports to a single user. This release adds a mandatory User Name field to the report generation page. The report only returns information for the user whose name the administrator enters in this field.
To let administrators run reports for all users, this release also adds a new administrator permission. If an administrator has the View Reports For All Users permission, an All Users checkbox appears next to the User Name field (or All Administrators for the Administrator Activity Report). Checking this box overrides the User Name field and the report returns information for all users. This permission is assigned to administrators by default.
To enable this feature and force an administrator to enter a user name for each report, you must remove the
View Reports For All Users privilege for that administrator.
This feature affects the following reports:
Risk Authentication Reports:
Analyze Transaction Report
Risk Evaluation Detail Activity Report
Strong Authentication Reports:
Authentication Activity
Credential Management Activity
Administrator Reports:
Administrator Activity Report
User Activity Report
User Creation Report
