I was unable to save Alarm filters and during troubleshooting we found the issue was due to the missing email address in my AD account definition so the user profile was incomplete in DX O2 database affecting the Alarm filtering, here is a screenshot:
As per DX O2 documentation, firs name, last name and email address are mandatory fields to complete, you cannot skip this information when creating a user using Basic Authentication, here is a screenshot example:
however, this validation is not visible when using LDAP user authentication so you don't know if the user profile has been created correctly or not in DX O2.
ENHANCEMENT REQUEST:
Add a red icon next to the user profile If any of the mandatory user data is missing, this will help Tenant Admins to quickly resolve the issue.
