Issue/Introduction

This KB describes limitation of IPv6 address. Edge continues to use the old IPv6 prefix after changing to new IPv6 prefix.
For example, suppose an edge is using an IPv6 address with the prefix fd00:1:1:1::/64 for communication. If the prefix is changed to fd00:1:1:2::/64, the edge continues to use the old prefix, fd00:1:1:1::/64. This is expected behavior.

The following screen is the result of checking the "Interface Status" in the "Remote Diagnostics" on VCO.
As you can see,  the GE4 port has IPv6 addresses  with different prefixes, fd00:1:1:1::/64 , fd00:1:1:2::/64 and fd00:1:1:200::/64.
In such cases, the Edge continues to use the IPv6 address with the first assigned IPv6 prefix.
