Issue/Introduction

The network pool is in a critical state, failing to initialize with error:

"Network Pool "NP (NP(com.vmware.vcloud.entity.networkpool:xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx))" is not initialized and is not ready for use."
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.vmware.vcloud.fabric.net.utils.TransportZoneUtil.getAllClusterToSwitchesMappings(TransportZoneUtil.java:109) at com.vmware.vcloud.fabric.net.utils.TransportZoneUtil.getSwitchesForVdnScope(TransportZoneUtil.java:72) at com.vmware.vcloud.fabric.net.utils.TransportZoneUtil.computeVdsContextSet(TransportZoneUtil.java:53)

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

The network pool is unable to initialize due to inconsistencies in the database status.

Resolution

This will need the modification in the VMware Cloud Director DB, so please make sure to take the  backup of the VMware Cloud Director Database: LINK.
