Issue/Introduction

Non admin users are unable to search device using Global Search, below error seen in the FrontEnd:

 

Environment

M&R - 7.x

Cause

User's role does not have permissions to access search template.

Resolution

Set ReadOnly OR ReadWrite access to respective role (assigned to the impacted user) for search template from FE Administration. PFB path/screenshot for reference:

Users & Security -> Users & Roles -> Manage Roles -> (Select respective role) -> Template Access -> Default ReportPack -> Template:Search
