When attempting to access the Roles section in vIDM we are encountering the error message, "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later," . This issue specifically arises when accessing vIDM through its IP address. However, we do not experience this problem when accessing vIDM via its Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). The error appears consistently when using the IP address, but there are no such errors when the system is accessed by its FQDN.

Currently, There is no fix available for this issue, but it is anticipated that the issue will be corrected in upcoming major release of vIDM.
Till then, it is recommended to access vIDM using the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) instead of the IP address. This approach avoids the system dependencies that lead to the error and allows users to access all functionalities, including the Roles section, without issues.
The error does not occur when vIDM is accessed via the FQDN, confirming that the problem is related specifically to IP address access.
The issue is limited to the roles section and does not affect other areas of vIDM when accessed via IP.
