"Added new IPV6 Address" event logs are frequently seen when the Edge is configured with HA configuration

Issue/Introduction

There is a possibility of "Added new IPV6 Address" event logs due to the Edge of the HA configuration with using IPv6.

The reason is that Edges with HA configuration output the "Added new IPV6 Address" event logs when the Edge received RA(Router Advertisement) packet. Message column includes "Added new IPV6 Address <same address> on Interface <interface name>" like below.

Environment

Velocloud SDWAN, VMware SDWAN, HA, Standard HA, Enhanced HA, IPv6

Cause

This is a known issue in VCE. We are aware of this problem, but there is no scheduled fix at this time.

Resolution

You can ignore these message. There is no traffic impact when "Added new IPv6 address" event logs output.
