Change a Highlighted (Non-scrollable) message to Lowlight (Scrollable) in OPS/MVS.

Issue/Introduction

Message MSGID01I comes out on the console as highlighted, and it is non-scrollable.    Can OPS/MVS be used to make the message lowlight, and scrollable?   

Resolution

Create a message rule for the messageID that needs to be changed, in this example MSGID01I, to lowlight as follows:

)PROC                  
 MSG.DESC = OPSBITS(3) 
RETURN
