How to add custom email header to emails processed by the SMG.

Environment

SMG 10.8 10.9

Resolution

Adding a Custom Email Header

• Navigate to Content > Policies > Content Filtering.
• Create or edit a policy as required.
• Under Actions, select Add a header.
• Enter the header name (e.g., X-New-Header) and its value.
• Save the policy and ensure it applies to the appropriate messages.

This configuration allows SMG to add the specified custom header to emails.
