Windows endpoints with limited network bandwidth fail to update via console

Issue/Introduction

• Upgrade Windows endpoints from console fails
• Upgrade same Windows endpoints manually succeeds

Environment

• Endpoint Standard Sensor: All Versions
• Enterprise EDR Sensor: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

Upgrade package download timeout is 60 seconds, which may be encountered on endpoints with limited network bandwidth

Resolution

In cases where manual upgrade is not feasible:  Log a support ticket and request that the following property be increased to 120000 for your Org:

CurlDefaultHighTimeoutMs

confer.log will show errors similar to:
