Issue/Introduction

When downloading specific packages from https://packages.broadcom.com users may experience issues if operating behind restrictive firewalls that only allow traffic to https://packages.broadcom.com

Cause

The packages are backed by S3 buckets on another domain outside of Broadcom.

Resolution

Since the exact URL, or sub-domain may change at any time without warning, users should coordinate with their network and security teams to permit traffic to *.s3.amazonaws.com
