The Top Secret r16 documentation says the SHRFILE setting has three possibilities: YES, SECURITY and NO. The TSS MODIFY output shows the following:
TSS9660I VERSION=16.0 KO
TSS9661I CA Top Secret BASE Status
...
Id=PRIMARY SHRFILE(YES,AINDXPER) RCACHE(NO)
...
Is this a holdover from Top Secret r15? Should it be changed?
'AINDXPER' is the default method of processing I/O when the security file is shared between multiple systems. So there is no longer a choice. You can still specify 'AINDXPER' in your Top Secret parameter file, but this is the method used regardless of whether or not it's specified. AINDXPER is only displayed in the TSS MODIFY output when the SHRFILE(SECURITY) or SHRFILE(YES) is set.
