Issue/Introduction

According to the 14.5 SP1 patch documentation for the CCS component ("CCS-1451-Instructions_On_How_To_Deploy.pdf"), the files are expected to be located in the Connector Server/ccs directory.

However, in my environment, there is no CCS folder present.
Could you please advise how to proceed with applying the CCS SP1 patch in the absence of this directory?

Environment

Identity Manager 14.5 SP1

Cause

This is not a problem; it depends on how the customer has chosen to install the CCS component.

Resolution

If a Provisioning Server is installed on the same host as the connector server, the CCS will be integrated with the Provisioning Server. All the CCS-related files will be placed under \Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\Provisioning Server
In this case, the patch should be copied to \Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\Provisioning Server\bin and \Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\Provisioning Server\data

And, if the connector server is installed on the remote server that does not have a provisioning server installed, the CCS folder can be found under
\Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\ConnectorServer\ccs
