Datacom RC 36 after Datacom CICS Services upgrade

Issue/Introduction

Datacom CICS Services ( aka CICS Service Facility) has been upgraded from version 11.0 to 12.0 .

User applications now get Datacom Return Code 36 - USER VIEW NOT OPEN.

Environment

VSEn 6.3

OLTP ( = CICS) 2.2

Cause

CICS has not been started with DCCOCPR in the CICS PLTPI.

Resolution

With DCCOCPR in the CICS PLTPI, Datacom CICS Services gets activated if there are URTS that need to be opened  ( all URT numbers NOT  coded in  the DBCVTPR AUTO and  DEFER list).

Without that program in the PLT , CICS Services must be started  manually by using DBOC STARTUP .

Start the CICS with  B112PLA in the CICS PLTPI and B112PLB in the CICS PLTSD.
