Issue/Introduction

Backup option is greyed out with the message: The Operation is not allowed because Password Manager operation are working on related resources.

Environment

Vmware Cloud Foundation 4.x

Vmware cloud Foundation 5.x 

Cause

This is due there is a different task running for the password manager as shown in the below screenshot.

Resolution

Please find the resolution steps below.

  • Cancel the task for the password.
  • Refresh the browser 
  • Retry the backup task.
