AC HUB GUI fails: PPM-011 - Adapter hub failed generating representive model of inventory for hub

Issue/Introduction

When trying to open the Admin Console HUB GUI I get: 

Message: Internal server error: Adapter hub failed generating representive model of inventory for hub

Resolution: Please check the ppm.log file 

Error code: PPM-011

 

Error in ppm.log:

nov 27 10:49:35:709 [attach_socket, ppm] (hub) Instance data population for adapter '/<>domain/<>_hub/<hubrobot>/hub' failed
nov 27 10:49:35:710 [attach_socket, ppm] (37) , Wrong type, the element type is String (7)

 

All other Probe GUI Can be opened correctly. 

I can also open another hub GUI, it' is failing only on one hub. 

 

Environment

DX UIM 23.4.*

Cause

Secure robot accidentally installed on the hub. 

To check if this is the cause verify the controller.log start if if looks like this: 

Dec  2 16:30:31:848 [3304] 0 Controller: ----- Robot controller 23.4.0.S [Build 23.4.0.S.1048, Jan  4 2024] started -----

This would also cause IM not to work. 

Resolution

Downgrade the robot to non-secure by installing the non secure robot_update back to the affected hub.

After a hub restart the issue should be fixed. the HUB GUI from AC and the IM should be accessible again.
