Issue/Introduction

MERGE running with option FAST=YES and abends with S0C4 .

IEF233D M device-number,serialnumber,,userid,MERGE,SYSXXXX.T135826.RA000.userid.IDXXXX, 
OR RESPOND TO IEF455D MESSAGE 
PET203I SYSTEM ABEND(S0C4) REASON(00000010) AT PSW(078D0000 8010C494). 
PET206I ABEND OCCURRED AT PGM(ADSDB004.ADSDB004+0003EC) EPI(01/15/10 CCUWC50). 

Environment

Release: Disk™ Backup and Restore 12.5

Cause

The problem received when option FAST=YES is used, where DSNINDEX records are orphaned

Resolution

Follow the steps listed below.

1) Running MERGE without option FAST=YES
2) For release 12.5, Apply PTF RO87128 and continue to use FAST=YES
