destinationType in Crystal Reports 2020 is null

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading from Crystal Reports 2016 to 2020, the destinationType prompt value is not passed. Instead,  a null value is seen.

For example, the output file for Crystal 2016:

11/06/24 11:31:16.816 Thread-27: Default:     destinationType : Default

After upgrading to Crystal 2020, the following is seen in the output file.

11/06/24 11:23:56.989 Thread-23: Default:     destinationType :

Environment

Applications Manager 9.x.x
RA Business Object 4.x.x

Resolution

Check the Destination_AllowList.txt file and make sure that path values listed in this text file contain forward slashes (/) instead of back slashes (\), even though the OS is Windows.

Directory path may differ from environment to environment, but below is the default directory path for the text file:

F:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\config\Destination_AllowList.txt
