Error LCMVROPSYSTEM25003 when trying to add a replica node to the Aria Operations environment in Aria Suite Lifecycle

Issue/Introduction

1. When adding a replica node to the existing Aria Operations environment in Aria Suite Lifecycle, error LCMVROPSYSTEM25003 is shown:

2. https://replica_node_IP_or_FQDN/admin is accessible but only shows a single-node cluster with the replica node being the primary node.

3. Only one Aria Operations environment with the first node deployed is shown in the Aria Suite Lifecycle.

Cause

When the replica node has already been deployed as the primary node for a separate instance, the same IP, hostname, and other network settings of the node cannot be used to add as a second node to the other cluster in Aria Suite Lifecycle.

Resolution

1. As this is a fresh new deployment, the VM of the replica node can be safely deleted from the vCenter.

2. Important: Make sure the DNS records (both forward and reverse) are in place for this node to prevent running into the following DNS resolvability check error that will fail the installation:
