The following error is showing on vCenter HA panel:
"PostgreSQL replication is not in progress. Verify if PostgreSQL server is running on the Passive node and that the Passive node is reachable on the vCenter HA network."
vCenter Server Appliance 6.x, 7.0 and 8.0
This is an indication of issues on the services in the passive node causing the changes performed in the vCenter not being saved in the passive, then in an event of failover vCenter will be in an older state of the inventory.
To fix the issue, ensure that the networking in the replication interfaces are configured correctly and that communication between the configured IP addresses are successful.
The replication interfaces need to be connected to the same PortGroup and configured with IP addresses in the correct range/subnet that is configured for this PortGroup.
Make sure the passive node is in health state, in general a reboot of the passive node may bring the services online and the panel will show as health.
If the reboot doesn't resolve the issue then a destroy of the vCenter HA (Remove vCenter HA) is required to configure it again from scratch.
