Issue/Introduction

Problem:

I cannot seem to find PTF RO66534 which is a PRE-REQ for RO76103 & RO76239.  These PTFs are for FMID CETN600 which is the CA CSM Common Services component. This component is used by CA Chorus Software Manager(CSM) for Software Configuration and Deployment. 

 

Cause:

PTF RO66534 is a "BETA" PTF that was written and internally published during the beta cycle for CETN600. This PTF, along with RO67428 and RO69297, were included in the GA package. Anyone installing the GA package would have these PTFs SUPed by the base function, CETN600. Anyone that had installed the beta package may not have these PTFs and would therefore need to have them provided by CA Support.

 

Resolution:

Install the GA package for CA CSM COMMON SERVICES or contact CA Support and request that these PTFs be provided.

The CA CSM COMMON SERVICES package can be found on CA Support Online. From the Product Downloads page...

-> select product: CA Common Services - MVS , release 14.1

or

-> select product: CA Chorus Software Manager - MVS , release 6.0

 

The associated package is named: DVD03135507E.pax.Z

This can be installed using CA CSM or manually using the ESD installation methodology.
