Issue/Introduction

The Blackberry Primary and Standby servers will create SNMP events that can be monitored when a failover occurs. How to monitoring Fail-over on Blackberry Servers

logmon any version

Resolution

You can configure a snmpget probe to monitor and alert for these.

Additionally the servers will write to the Dispatcher, Controller, and Messaging agent logs at level 5 in the event of a fail over.

You could configure a logmon probe to collect additional information from these.

Additional Information

The Nimsoft snmpget probe performs SNMP GET queries to selected SNMP devices transforming the query result into alarms and/or Quality of Service for SLA purposes
