Question:
What is SYSVAAST?
Answer:
SYSVAAST is the CA SYSVIEW anchor address space.
The purpose of this address space is to anchor data spaces that are created and used by
CA SYSVIEW.
In previous releases, data spaces where anchored in the MASTER address space.
This is no longer done. The anchor address does not execute any code or programs.
SYSVAAST is defined as noncancelable and non-memtermable.
In order to remove it from the system, an IPL will be required.
