• Steps on how to Install a patch for VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x

Environment

• VMware Aria Suite LifeCycle. 

Resolution

• Below are the steps to apply a patch for Aria Suite LifeCycle:
  
  • Click Lifecycle Operations, and navigate to Settings > Binary Mappings.
  • Click Patch Binaries.
  • To map a patch offline, download the patch from Broadcom Support Portal  portal and place it in the data folder Aria Suite LifeCycle appliance.
  • Map the offline patch using the local folder option in Aria Suite Lifecycle UI. 
  • The patches must be downloaded from the Product Binaries page. Only the downloaded patches are listed here.
  • Click Next.
  • Review and Install the available patch and click Finish.
  • The patch install request progress can be tracked under Requests.
  • To view the history of patches, click Patches > History.
