Issue/Introduction

Running Endevor 18.0 and a Package is built and cast with return code of 0 but the execution fails with the following message:

BC1PBM30: F000 ABEND CODE=U806 NUMBER=0806

What is wrong?

Release 18.0 
 

Resolution

This is a known problem with Endevor. If you look at the execution of the package you will see the following message:

C1G0228E  UNABLE TO MATCH SUBSYSTEM subsystem IN SYSTEM system

Check the subsystems defined in your SCL for the subsystem mentioned.  Correct and resubmit the job.

This issue was fixed by PTF RO89556 for Endevor V18.0.
