Standby device software update failure

Issue/Introduction

In a High-availability scenario, standby edge failed to upgrade and we can see below event on the VCO.

Environment

All SD-WAN software version

Cause

Due to defect in older software versions, the TCP connection between the HA edges can break and as a result copy of software image from active edge to standby edge fails.

Resolution

Most of the HA  TCP issues has been resolved in latest software version of 4.5.2.

It is recommended to upgrade the edge to the LTS software 5.2.3+.
