SAP_Basis probe with SNC

Issue/Introduction

I noticed sap_basis probe support SNC. Do you have a guide on how to enable sap_basis with SNC?

Environment

UIM 23.4

sap_basis 2.08 and later

 

Resolution

Follow the below step:-

== Turn on SNC using Is SNC Available switch.
 
== SAP SNC Mode - 0 (SNC disabled) or 1 (SNC enabled).
 
==SAP SNC SSO  (Single sign-on)  - 0 (SSO disabled) or 1 (SSO enabled).
To use "SAP SNC SSO" you may need to launch sap_basis probe with the user permissions for which SSO is enabled on the SAP host. You can enable this by setting the SSO-enabled user for service " Nimsoft Robot Watcher" on SAP host. In this case, all Nimsoft processes must be launched under this user. This is an experimental feature. If you are unsure about this functionality, set it to  "0."
== AP SNC Partner Name - SNC name of the communication partner (application server). Example: 
p:CN=SSA.
 
==SAP SNC QOP - Quality of protection (protection level. Possible values: 1, 2, 3, 9).
 
==SAP SNC My Name - Specifies the SNC name of SAP NetWeaver AS for Java. Example: 
p:[email protected].
 
==SAP SNC Library  - Specifies the path and file name of the external library (sapcrypto.dll). Example: 
C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SecureLogin\lib\sapcrypto.dll.
