Issue/Introduction

Attempting to integrate a management pack with Aria Operations fails with error message, "failed to create AI resource. Resource with same key already exists"

Environment

VCF Operations 9.x
Aria Operations 8.x

Aria Automation 8.x

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

• This issue will occur if the host being configured in the management pack is already integrated with VCF Operations
• Also, if the user doesn't have sufficient permission, this error message will trigger
  • Verify the account being used to login to Aria Operations has sufficient Roles and Privileges

Resolution

• Login to the Aria Operations with local admin account and you will be able to view the integration if it exists
• If the integration is not visible or the issue continues, proceed with further troubleshooting by following the steps outlined in Knowledge Base Article 382929
