Issue/Introduction

SYSVIEW Base or Upgrade Configuration Workflow Step 3.4 Remove JOBCARD from INST0000

EDC5061I An error occurred when attempting to define a file to the system.  

Cause

 Source file has already been opened on the host. 

Resolution

Ensure the file is closed on the host and run the User Build again.

Please note that you can encounter problems if you are in browsing the SAMPJCL while your jobs are running since it is editing the library on the fly. The jobs will actually end with a zero condition code but at the bottom there may see messages similar to:EDC5061I. An error occurred when attempting to define a file to the system. which also results in the jobcard being left in the member in some instances. To move past this you need to go back to step 1 to rebuild the SAMPJCL.
