Issue/Introduction

Symptoms: 

Scheduled Tasks Keep In Pending Status In Xtraction. The Tasks Are Not Executed and Remain In Pending Forever.  

Environment:  

Xtraction 15.1

Cause: 

The "Xtraction Alerts" Windows Service is not started. By default, this Windows Service is set to Manual so it's necessary to start manually to process the Alerts in the queue.

Resolution:

1. Go to the Xtraction Server > Run > services.msc

2. Locate the "Xtraction Alerts". This Windows Services is set to Manual so maybe is not started. If so, Run it, wait a few minutes until the Pending Alerts are processed by the Service.

Additional Information:

If any problem starting the "Xtraction Alerts" Windows Service, check the AlertService.log from C:\Program Files (x86)\Xtraction Software\Xtraction\Tools
