Packets leak between Lan ports between segments in Edge 520

Issue/Introduction

Packet leaks between VLAN if below setup is seen.

1) LAN8 port belonging to a segment1.

2) LAN1 to LAN7 port belonging to global segment.

 

If we connect PC1 or  switch to Ports Lan1 to LAN4, we could see packets of Lan8 ports and also MAC address of LAN 8 traffic on switch connected to ports LAN 1-4.

 

However if we connect to LAN 5 - 7 we will not see the issue.

 

Environment

Velocloud SD-WAN version 5.2.x

Cause

Issue is caused due to a bug 153924 and fix is expected to be available in 5.2.4.x upcoming releases.

Resolution

Workaround: The issue will not be seen if both ports are connected in LAN 1-4 itself or LAN 5-7.

 

Permanent fix would be addressed in software release in R5.2.4.x upcoming release.
