NSX LB session current counter is different from the current counter in LB virtual server.

Issue/Introduction

When we see the number of current sessions under Load Balancer section, it might be the different with the actual number of current sessions.

The exact number of current sessions can be retrieved via the output of "get load-balancer <UUID> session-tables".

Environment

VMware NSX 

Cause

When a L4 virtual server is removed from LB service, if a session to this VIP is closed after this delete operation, the current session counter in LB service, pool and pool member is not decreased.

Resolution

Workaround:

To address this issue, customers can put the edge node into maintenance mode but all LB stats counter will be cleared.
