Issue/Introduction

Environment

PAM previous versions than 4.2

Cause

The file was not completely downloaded from the Support site or there were some errors during the download.

Resolution

1. Re-download the upgrade package directly from the Support website to ensure you have the correct and latest version.

2. Compare the file size of the downloaded package with the expected file size to verify completeness

3. Locate the checksum file that accompanies the upgrade package.

4. Use a checksum verification tool to compute the checksum of the downloaded upgrade file

5. Ensure the computed checksum matches the value listed in the accompanying checksum file

6. If the checksums match, retry running the upgrade process.

7. If issues persist, reach out to technical support for additional help.
