Verification that APM 10.8 Service pack 1 has been installed and is running

Issue/Introduction

We are currently using 10.8 version. How to verify that 10.8 Service Pack 1 has been installed?

 

Environment

APM 10.8.*

Resolution

You can use any of the below options to confirm that that 10.8sp1 has been installed and/or is running:

 

Option 1) From <EM-HOME>/config/IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties

As per KB APM 10.8 HOTFIXES, 10.8sp1 is = 10.8 HOTFIX # 4

Open your <EM-HOME>/config/IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties

review that comment section, at the top, if 10.8sp1 has been installed, there will be a reference to 10.8 hf4 as per below screenshot:

 

Option 2) In the IntroscopeEnterpriseManager log, search for the build #

As per KB APM 10.8 HOTFIXES, sp1 version and build # are:

version:    10.8.0.64  
build : 990426  

In the EM-HOME/logs/IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log, during EM startup you will see the below line indicating that running EM is version 10.8sp1

2024-09-12 15:35:52.062  INFO 9644 --- [main] Manager : Introscope Enterprise Manager Release 10.8.0.64 (Build 990426)

 

Option 3) From the APM UI > TeamCenter > Help > About
